A 2020 graduate of Mechanics and Machine Design at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Wrocław University of Science and Technology, and a PhD candidate at the Doctoral School in Mechanical Engineering since 2020. His research focuses on the fatigue and fracture of composite materials. His doctoral dissertation focuses on the deterministic description of the mechanical response of a thin-walled carbon fiber-reinforced polymer structure subjected to multidirectional cyclic loading.

Interests
  • Finite Element Method (FEM); numerical simulations of fracture progression using the cohesive model (CZM), modeling of the mechanical response of hyperelastic materials; stress analysis.
  • Mechanics of composite materials; fatigue degradation, multi-scale modeling, fatigue life prediction, crack initiation.
  • Fracture mechanics; description of fracture of fiber laminates using the energy release coefficient.
  • Experimental mechanics; basic material characterization, fracture toughness – DCB, ENF, MMB.
